THANKS THIS MONTH
A very big thank you to Dan for working very hard on the Remembrance Day Service and Parade. Also Mr Charles deLacy for leading this very important service. We appreciate all the people moving and collecting chairs and the technicians for providing the visuals and sound. So many people help to make this service very special for our community. Especially thanking all the young people who took part and attended this service. A huge amount was raised this year for the Royal British Legion. The collection at the service was £547.84 plus £39.80 by Maisie Nash a young scout who did a fund raising event on the day before. A very big thank you to all.

Amazing Grace
‘He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Because of His grace He made us right in His sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.’ Titus 3:6-7 (NLT)
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1Thessalonians 5:16-18
Lord, we rejoice over your coming into our world to rescue humanity from sin and death. May we draw close to you during this Advent time
As we prepare for Christmas, remember all those who will be finding this a very difficult time. We remember those who have been bereaved, those who are apart from loved ones, those who are lonely and alone, those with no family or friends, those who will be working over Christmas and those who are ill, or homeless. Like me, I am sure you can think of many people to pray for, while others around them will be celebrating, ask God to comfort and demonstrate his great love to them.
Please Pray for everyone involved in the Christmas services and events during this month, may they know God’s anointing. We especially remember all our speakers and their families who serve this church throughout the year. We give thanks Lord for sending them to this fellowship.
Pray for the residents who live in Valentine House and Boar’s Tye Residential Home. May they still know the Joy and Hope of Christmas and the Lords presence with them. Remember also all the staff and visitors who look after them.
Pray for all who help to look after us and keep us safe, especially through the cold winter weather. We think of Police, Paramedics/Ambulance, Fire Brigade, Air Ambulance, Rescue Services, Salting Trucks, and our Armed Forces.
As we look to the New Year, and the changes that are going on within the building, please pray for this village and fellowship that we may go forward in the Lord’s strength.
Lord Jesus please bless your people in Silver End. May they be filled with your love and the Spirit of God, as they seek to follow and serve You. We pray that your church might grow as Your Holy Spirit prepares the hearts of men, women and children. Protect them we pray, from the evil one who is out to destroy lives. We ask Lord that you would send workers to move into the village to work alongside other Christians to bring about the furtherance of Your Kingdom to the Glory of God. Amen.
‘Unless the LORD had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
When I said, “My foot is Slipping”, your unfailing love, LORD supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought Joy.’ Psalm 94:17 NIV
