Revelation 21:5

He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”

A big thank you to all the groups and individuals who provided and decorated Christmas trees for the Festival of Christmas Trees, and thanks for coming and collecting your trees and helping to clean up and return everything back to normal in the church.

Did you know? there are are many jobs that just magically get done‼! Like, fridge defrosting! Bins being put out despite being over the holidays. Brass polishing….and much, much more. Thank you

Also a massive thank you for the big jars of Coffee, biscuits, cakes and other items that all get gifted to the fellowship on a regular basis. You know who you are‼! These contributions are very much appreciated

We have new posters outside the church now. Please tell people our new times, and especially about the Family Celebrations twice a month.

For thought and Contemplation

Who can tell the far reaching effects of prayer?

Pray on – your persistent praying can produce results you never dreamed possible.

‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God; that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.’               (1 John 5:14-15)

Suggested Prayers

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, sun, moon and stars in their courses above join with all nature in manifold witness to Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see: all I have needed Thy hand hath provided – Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!

Thomas O Chisholm.

It’s deeply reassuring to reflect that in a world of change and uncertainty we can trust our heavenly Father, the Creator and Sustainer, and source of love, forgiveness, hope and life.

Lord we lift our Country before you, as we begin a new chapter in our history leaving the EU and begin to negotiate trade deal with them.

’Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling-place he watches all who live on earth – he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.’                          Psalm 33:12-15 (NIV)

Father, please continue to bless and guide our Queen with wisdom and grace as she seeks to live out her Christian faith both in her service to this country and across the Commonwealth, and at home with her family and friends. Amen.

Lord we pray for revival; for tens of thousands of people to turn to You for salvation.

Please keep praying for this village, pray for your neighbours, friends and relatives and all who live here. This month we especially pray for the people who live in Boars Tye Road, Western Road, Western Close, Western Lane and Bowers Close. Lord help us to share our faith, may our lives radiate Your love and truth.

Please keep in your prayers those known to you, from our fellowship and village, who are ill and those in grief, pain, anxiety and physical frailties .

‘We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us…Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.’                          1 John 3:16-18 (NLT)
