A PRAYERFUL THOUGHT
‘The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.’ Lord give us wisdom, knowledge and understanding to hear Your voice and walk in Your goodness and blessings all the days of our lives. THANKS THIS MONTH
Thanks this month entirely goes to Anne who has been our Secretary for over 40 years. She stepped down from this role at our AGM. There are not enough words to say how much this fellowship owes to Anne for all the tireless work, dedication, and total commitment she has shown over so many years. We are very pleased that she is still willing to serve her Lord and King through the church, as much as she can. We are indebted to you Anne and thank you from the bottom of our hearts..
This is our God, The Servant King, He calls us now to follow Him, to bring our lives as a daily offering of worship to The Servant King (Graham Kendrick)

Suggested Prayers
May the calming peace of Jesus gently wash your fears away. May the power of God’s spirit fill your life with love. And God’s healing grace pour over you with blessings from above. Margaret Shoemark.
70th Anniversary of the National Health Service. We give thanks for the vision of our NHS, set up 70 years ago to meet the needs of everyone and be free at the point of delivery.’ Which has made an incredible difference to countless people’s lives. Give thanks for the excellence and commitment of those who have worked within it over the years.
We remember also to thank God for GPs, district nurses, health visitors, midwives and health care workers. We remember and give thanks that such people are working in our community in our local surgery, people’s homes, schools, clinics, hospices, and care homes’
Lord, our Great Physician, please grant Your gifts of love, wisdom, integrity and knowledge to those who work in health organisations throughout the world, especially where they are impeded through lack of medical supplies, unstable and dangerous situations and other problems. Amen.
Remember friends and family who are in need of our prayers. We pray for Jo whose husband Terry died suddenly. We lift Jo and Family up and pray that the Lord may give them his comfort and peace.
We would also remember Mark Chittick who has lost his father Gerald. Janet and Gerald Chittick were members of this church for a number of years before moving to Braintree. We know of others in this village that have lost loved ones and have funerals to attend. Lord comfort all who are grieving.
We would commend you to keep Jan and Eileen Ayres in your prayers. Both Eileen and Jan are visited regularly we ask that God will be close to them both.
Pray for all who will be taking holidays over the next couple of months, that they enjoy themselves and come back feeling refreshed and renewed.
Pray for the last few weeks of the school term. Especially we think of the children who will be leaving our local school or nursery school to attend new schools in September. Lord please protect our children. We especially pray for Denise, Marie and others who are hoping to start a new Nursery School from September. We pray that all will go to plan and the Lord will bless them mightily.
Pray for all the Christian Summer Camps, that all who attend will be kept safe and learn how much Jesus loves them.
