‘Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never ends.’

1 Corinthians 13 4-8 (NRSV)

Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. (…) Let every detail in your lives – words, actions, whatever – be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way

Colossians 3:15 & 17 ( The Message)

We would ask for prayer for this Fellowship, as we begin a new Academic year. Our diary will be fairly busy from now until December. Please ask for God’s help and guidance. We as a small fellowship need practical and spiritual help and we as His church must all work together for His glory.

We give thanks to God as we re-dedicate our fellowship and buildings to His glory at our special Harvest services next month.

Please remember all the children and young people returning or starting schools and colleges locally. We do pray especially for our own local school the Headteacher, teachers, support staff and especially the children. Pray for C.Y.O. as they work in the local schools teaching and supporting young people in Jesus’ name.

We once again give thanks for the Harvest almost all safely gathered in. We are always amazed how blessed we are in this Country, with the richness of our Harvest fields, hedgerows, gardens, allotments and orchards. We have so much to be thankful for.

We pray for this Country as Parliament returns and those elected to serve us. We pray that they will hold their office with honesty and integrity and serve their constituents. We pray especially for the Prime Minister and pray that You Lord will guide and direct them in their leadership. We know that we are going to go through a difficult time. We pray that you will take away any fears that people may have. Please give all those in Parliament and local authorities Your great wisdom.

Our church family -Please pray for Roy, who has just undergone a big operation his daughter Diane who is still finding life difficult after losing her mother and partner. Continue to remember John, Hilary, Susan and family and the Broad family who lost both parents so quickly. Please pray for Beryl and Michael they continue to need our prayers and Carl their son.. Remember Anne’s family - We continue to pray for Gemma and the girls. We pray for Shelia Gilder who has broken her hip and arm and for Derek who has had to go into care. We pray for all in our fellowship with long term pain and discomfort.

He said to them “Go into all the World, and proclaim the Good News to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.                                                                                              Mark 16:15-16
